Today we spent visiting sights in the city. We arrived at Shaanxi Museum in the morning. It was raining and we had to queue for a free ticket but the museum was well worth it with exhibits from 4 dyanasty with the Tang Dynasty being the most spectacular. After the museum, we went to the ancient street of art supplies. It was almost 3 when we finished and couldn't find a proper restaurant to eat. In the afternoon, we went to the City Wall and Drum Tower.

Finally the day has come to see the Terracotta Warriors. The hotel advised us to negotiate a rate with a taxi for the day for RMB350 to go to the East of Xian. We set off at 1000 and arrived soon after 1100. The driver recommended a guide who unfortunately was not qualified or good and charged RMB40, we later found that official guides charged RMB20. However, I was still so exciting to enter Pit 1 and ran up to the ledge to see the warriors.

Took an afternoon plane and arrived at 8:30pm. Got to the hotel quickly in an hour. Met a Cantonese speaking bell boy who gave us a lot of tips. He said the night market, Moslem St is still open and food stalls open till 3am. We were so happy we could still do something on day one. We took a taxi there immediately.
