Big Ben is marvellous. I knew that place by reputation and I think grabbing the chance to go there is quite good. Not surprisingly, I saw a tall clock tower blending in the Parliament building. They match quite extroadinarily and the sense of brass gold glistening under the sunlight gives a sense of medieval feel. If you stay longer than expected to admire the River Thames (embankment) opposing it, you can observe the wrinkles of Big Ben gradually emerging and finally, telling you it will soon be engulfed by the busy town it lives in.
