菠蘿炒飯十分好味
Delicious BBQ seafood
Seafood basket only cost 1850 bahts!!!
There are three restaurants within the Resort, the Earth Café, the Sunset Beach Restaurant and the Fire Grill. In Thai standards, dining in the Resort is expensive. One could expect spending an average of HKD 200 per person. To enjoy lovely Thai food with less money, there are some Thai restaurants outside the Resort. Don't expect there's any graceful décor. But the food should not be bad, according to what the Resort staff told us. We didn't go out dining because most of the local establishments were close during low seasons. There was no public lighting as well. We were hesitated to adventure in the palm forest and locate local establishment at night.
The bakery here is very impressive. Our package included free breakfasts. Hence, it is a nice idea to wake up late in the morning (which is a very precious gift for us) and enjoy a brunch at the Earth Café where breakfasts were served until 11 AM. All bakeries are home-made. The crust is crispy while the bread body itself is very soft. There's no need to serve with butter or jam. That's why I temporarily changed from carnivore into herbivore in these few days. Seafood is expectedly abundant and delicious. Don't miss out the king-sized tiger prawns and crabs. They are all very juicy.
There are a few tips for dining within the Resort. First of all, the prices of the appetizers are much more reasonable than the main dishes in terms of the Thai standards. Try to explore the appetizers in the menu and you will get a large more variety of dishes. If you really wanna have seafood, we suggest you to go to Sunset Beach Restaurant where they serve a BBQ seafood basket with a fish, 2 king-sized tiger prawns, squids, 2 crabs and 2 mini-lobsters for just 1850 bahts.
There are also in-house bars to chill out. You may enjoy the sea view while sipping your glass of wine.
